Peirce Phelps is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join their team as the Director of Commercial Sales. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the commercial sales strategy for our business. You will work closely with our executive team to develop and execute sales plans, establish sales goals, and drive revenue growth in the commercial sector.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives in the commercial market.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key commercial customers, including contractors, developers, architects, and building owners.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand our market presence and increase market share.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product management teams to develop effective sales tools, promotions, and marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to track progress, evaluate effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and updates to the executive team, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of performance.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory requirements related to commercial distribution.

 

Minimum Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in commercial sales within the HVAC distribution industry.
  • Proven track record of success in leading sales teams and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of HVAC products, applications, and market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
